A heavy duty attachment commonly used in varying applications such as demolition, waste handling and general sorting.
This is a non-rotating grab and runs simply off the excavators double acting hydraulic hammer circuit. Unlike rotating grabs it does not require a second hydraulic service which helps reduce the comparative cost.
A quick hitch cross link is supplied as standard (if pin measurements allow) and enables the grab can be used in either orientation. Should the excavator pin measurements not provide sufficient clearance for a cross link headstock to be manufactured, a standard one way hitch will be provided – this can still easily be turned 90 degrees on a set of only 4 bolts in under 2 minutes.
The SG grabs are a cost effective range that enables the full dexterity of the machine to be utilised without any need for welding parts to the excavator. Fully greaseable pivot points and bolt on replaceable wear blades allow for a long service life.
